TimeCost (“we”, “us”, or “the App”) is a simple calculator that converts purchase prices into hours and days of your work based on the earnings rate you enter. This Privacy Policy explains how TimeCost handles information.
1. Summary
TimeCost is designed to work on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not collect personal data for advertising or analytics networks. Values you enter (such as currency, earnings rate, and purchase price) stay on your device unless you choose to share a screenshot or export content yourself.
2. Information stored on your device
The App may store the following locally on your device:
- Selected currency
- Earnings rate and rate period (per minute / hour / day / week)
- Work-unit preferences (minutes per hour, hours per day, days per week)
- Onboarding completion state
This information is used only to provide the calculator experience and to remember your preferences between sessions. It is stored using on-device storage mechanisms provided by the operating system / app runtime.
3. Information we do not collect
Unless required by the platform you install from, TimeCost does not intentionally collect:
- Names, email addresses, or account credentials
- Precise location
- Contacts, photos, or microphone/camera data
- Payment card details (the App does not process payments)
- Advertising identifiers for third-party ad networks
4. Internet access and third parties
Core calculator features work with local input only. The App does not send your earnings rate or purchase amounts to our servers for calculation. If you download TimeCost from Google Play or similar stores, those platforms may process installation, update, and crash or diagnostic data under their own policies.
5. Children
TimeCost is a general productivity utility and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Data retention and deletion
Because preferences are stored on your device, you can clear them by clearing the App’s storage/cache in system settings or by uninstalling the App. Uninstalling TimeCost removes locally stored preferences associated with the App.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps appropriate for an on-device utility. No method of storage is 100% secure. Protect your device with a lock screen and keep your operating system updated.
8. International users
TimeCost may be used worldwide. Processing of local preferences occurs on the device where the App is installed. Platform providers (for example Google) may process distribution-related data according to their terms and privacy policies.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when revisions are published. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
