This Privacy Policy explains how Single Focus (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Android application Single Focus (package name: com.evol.singlefocus).

1. Who we are
Single Focus is a local focus timer that helps you keep one task on screen during a timed session.

2. Summary
- The App is designed to work on your device.
- We do not require an account.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- In the current version, the App does not send your task text or focus statistics to our servers.
- Uninstalling the App removes the data stored by the App on your device.
3. Information the App stores on your device
The App may store the following information locally on your device (for example, using on-device storage such as AsyncStorage):
- Task / note text — the text you enter as your current focus task or note.
- Focus preferences — selected session duration and related app state needed to run a session.
- Local focus statistics — minutes focused today, number of completed sessions, streak count, and last active date.
- Device language settings (read-only) — the App reads your device language to choose an interface language. Supported languages include English, Chinese, Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, Portuguese, French, Russian, German, and Japanese. If your language is not supported, the App falls back to English.
This information stays on your device unless you choose to share screenshots, backups, or device contents yourself through other apps or system features.
4. Information we do not collect (current version)
In the current version of Single Focus, we do not intentionally collect or transmit:
- Name, email address, or account credentials (the App has no sign-in)
- Precise location
- Contacts, photos, or files from your device gallery
- Payment information
- Advertising identifiers for ads
- Analytics or crash-reporting data through third-party SDKs
If a future version adds analytics, crash reporting, cloud sync, accounts, ads, or purchases, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are enabled.
5. How local data is used
Locally stored information is used only to:
- Show your task during a focus session
- Run the timer and session flow
- Remember your last task for convenience
- Show light personal progress such as today’s minutes, sessions, and streak
- Display the interface in a suitable language
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share your task text or focus statistics with third parties in the current version, because that data is not uploaded to our servers.
Your data may still be processed by your device manufacturer, operating system, or backup services according to their own policies if you enable device backups or cloud backup features outside the App.
7. Permissions and device features
Depending on Android version and device behavior, the App may use standard device capabilities such as:
- Keeping the screen awake during an active focus session
- Haptic feedback
- Controlling system UI visibility during focus (for example, hiding navigation bars)
These features are used to support the focus experience and are not used to collect personal profiles.
8. Data retention and deletion
Local App data remains on your device until you:
- Clear the App’s storage in Android settings, or
- Uninstall the App

9. Children’s privacy
The App is a general productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a future cloud feature, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. Security
Because data is stored locally on your device, security also depends on your device lock screen, OS updates, and physical control of the device. We recommend keeping your device updated and protected with a secure lock method.
11. Third-party services
The current version does not integrate advertising networks or analytics SDKs. Android and Google Play services are provided by Google and are governed by Google’s own terms and privacy policy when you download or update the App from Google Play.
12. International users
The App may be used in multiple countries. Interface language follows your device settings where supported. Local on-device storage remains on your device.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
